Changing the wallpaper and lock screen backgrounds is an easy way to personalize your phone! This is how you do it.

1. Open the “Settings” app (if you have trouble finding it, see this guide on searching for apps).

2. Scroll down until you see “Wallpaper.” Click it.

3. Click “Choose a New Wallpaper.”

4. Now, you can use one of Apple’s suggested ones or use your own picture.

5. To use your own picture, click “All Photos.”

6. Click on the photo that you would like to use.

7. You can change the crop of the picture by using your finger to move it and adjust the zoom by pinching with two fingers. Keep in mind that the screen shows a preview of what it will look like once you are finished.

8. Once you are satisfied with the image, click “Set” in the bottom right corner.

9. Now you can choose where you would like this picture to be displayed. “Set Lock Screen” will make it the screen you see when you first pick up your phone. “Set Home Screen” will make it the background behind your apps on the home page. If you want it to be in both places, click “Set Both.”

That picture is now your wallpaper!
